Free food, fun and learning. Intensive collaboration over 2 days, with workshops designed to get you hands on with Windows Mixed Reality and the HoloLens so you can design, create and deploy your solution.
Everyone’s invited - and everyone’s needed! A strong team consists of Designers, Hustlers and Hackers. People with Psychology, Education, Marketing and Business experience are encouraged to apply!

In today’s Learn-it-all society, the way we learn isn’t keeping up. Your aim is to create a solution using new emerging technologies like Mixed Reality, Machine Learning, AI and Spatial computing to come up with new ways to learn.
We’re here to empower people of all experience levels to aim big by providing you the resources, support and tools you’ll need to make your dreams a reality. We’ve got food and workshops covered, it’s up to you to bring your creative problem solving skills!
Rita Arrigo is a Chief Digital Advisor at Microsoft, with a passion for emerging technology to re-imagine the possible with AI, Mixed Reality, IOT and Blockchain, she designs programs of change, envisions with Design Thinking & Inclusive Design, hacks, prototypes and delivers. Her role is focused on delivering Programs of Change, continuous innovation and business impact within Banking, Retail and Telecommunications.
She believes in making our lives more human and reinventing our working lives to a lifelong learning inclusive culture powered by data to drive new levels of human experiences. Her role as an AI Ambassador drives many AI for Good Initiatives, including Smart Inclusive Cities, Diversity, Sustainability and Humanitarian aspects.
Rita lives in Melbourne and has two student daughters who mentor her in generation z ways and is married to an artist of still life.
Elaine is passionate about how the ethical use of technology can enable humans and organisations to achieve more, especially within the Health Industry.
As part of the Commercial Software Engineering team at Microsoft, she works directly with customers to help them get them the most out of the latest technology features and services including AI, Machine Learning and Bots by coding with them on projects.
Throughout Elaine’s career, she has always looking for ways to continue her learning, and in the process has completed 3 formal degrees and enjoys sharing this passion at local meetups, domestic and international technical conferences. She is also proud to be a 2019/2020 Superstar of STEM.
Donna is a Lead Consultant at Telstra Purple where she’s building a new design practice and working on interesting client projects. With 20-ish years experience, she has designed for a wide range of problems across all kinds of industries. Donna is a regular conference speaker, has written three books and ran UX Australia for 9 years.
Jamie is a Senior UX Consultant with a passion for problem solving and creating engaging experiences. He has years hands-on experience in user research, visual storytelling, UX/UI design, rapid prototyping, and user testing for rich desktop and mobile applications. Whether it is developing new digital products, or iterating on existing ones, Jamie practices user centered design principles basing design decisions on user needs and business goals.
